Mar de Frades is one of the most renowned wineries in the Rías Baixas, and it produces the Albariño of the same name, one of the most famous in Spain.

The winery, which opened new facilities in 2007, is located at the foot of the Finca Valiñas vineyard, on the slope of a mountain located in the center of the Salnés valley. This location, in front of the Arosa estuary, allows it to receive the Atlantic breezes tempered by the estuary. The farm has vineyards with a significant slope, and integrated into them is the production building, covered with the granite so characteristic of the area. At the entrance, a symbolic sail of the ship, which is the corporate image of the house, welcomes visitors.

Once inside the winery, a large space houses the facilities, where the cold stainless steel joins the quality of the noble woods and the cheerful blue and orange colors that distinguish the image of Mar de Frades. The views over the estuary are a constant in the winery, from the bottling line area to the tasting room.
