Backed by a history in wine culture in Spain, Miguel Torres Chile arrived in the Curicó Valley in 1979 after searching for a new destination. On this trip, in addition to finding excellent weather conditions, the family is committed to innovating in winemaking by incorporating stainless steel and French oak vats.

Today, Miguel Torres Chile has focused on his commitment to organic viticulture and Fair Trade certification in various wines. These advances have helped to be a more sustainable company, but also to carry out numerous sustainable projects. Based on Fair Trade, Organic Agriculture and Innovation, Miguel Torres Chile maintains within its pillars these concepts that have marked history and its production chain.

Miguel Torres Chile has worked on the recovery of traditional Chilean varieties, almost forgotten, such as the country strain, carignan and muscatel, with small suppliers from dry land sectors. Cordillera Carignan, Estelado Rosé, Reserva de Pueblo and Días de Verano are part of the products associated with this type of project. With a presence in more than 100 countries, the Miguel Torres Chile family vineyard has established itself in these 30 years as one of the main wineries producing quality wines, competing in a global market through the identity of its products, respect for the environment and its social responsibility.

In 2010, Miguel Torres Maczassek, a member of the fifth generation of the family, assumed the presidency of the company in Chile, with the objective of increasing exports and ensuring the smooth running of the winery.
