View: dark ruby color.
Nose: Intense aroma of black fruits (cherry jam) on a background reminiscent of ripe figs, and a mineral touch typical of the terroir.
Mouth: The palate is sensual, with rich and juicy fruit material, deep and persistent.
Description: Garnacha vineyards located in the municipality of Capçanes on infertile land facing the mountains. Those from Cariñena come from vineyards on different plots in Masroig.
Age: More than 60 years for Garnacha and Cariñena and between 10 and 15 years for Syrah.
Soil: Clay
Climate: Mediterranean mountain.
Vinification: Maceration of between 8 and 10 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under temperature control for one week at 26ºC. Ageing: Approximately 40% of the wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 8 months.
