Just two kilometres from the banks of the Douro and less than five kilometres from the limits of one of the most famous Designations of Origin in the world for Tempranillo, two brothers, Hugo and Daniel, are the driving force behind a craze that began in 1985: the cultivation and production of wines made with Pinot Noir.
The wines maintain all the elegance of the Pinot Noir variety, light, light, and with very soft connotations, but, on the other hand, in Alta Pavina he adds large doses of fun and, above all, the strength of the land where it is located on the banks of the Douro River. Surprising character with floral notes, balsamic, almost translucent color and orange trim that is intensified by the amount of sunshine it receives and the 35 years of age of the vineyard.
