VIEW Bright ruby red color with a high layer and little evolved.
NOSE Very marked aromas of liquorice and compote fruit (dried apricots, plums and cherries) that blend with notes from its aging in the barrel (spices, vanilla and roasted) and a soft milky background.
MOUTH Long and very broad wine with a marked acidity that balances it as a whole. Aftertaste of prunes and aromas of aging, vanilla and toast with a tasty, sweet and mineral finish.
Made with Tempranillo (85%), Red Garnacha (10%) and Graciano (5%) from vineyards over 40 years old. Destemming of the grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation.
Aging in new and second-use 225 l barrels of French oak (70%) and American oak (30%) for 12 months. Natural clarification in the barrel itself and the barrels are racked every 4 months. Aging in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before its release on the market.
