The Rosso di Montalcino DOC from Col d'Orcia appears in the glass with a dark ruby red color with violet reflections and unfolds its wonderful and intense bouquet, typical of a Sangiovese.
It seduces with aromas of ripe red fruits, such as amarena cherry, and spicy components. This Tuscan red wine impresses on the palate with its good structure and soft tannins, which combine perfectly with fresh acidity. Its finish is long lasting and with a fruity aftertaste.
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand. After the harvest, maceration is carried out for 12 days at a constant 28°C in stainless steel tanks to optimally extract the color and aroma compounds from the skins of the berries. The wine is then put into Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity of 75-150 hectoliters, where it matures for 12 months. It is then refined in the bottle.
