Soft and fresh, with a meaty and fruity character. Balanced and well structured.
Brilliant cherry color with violet touches and a nice middle layer.
Ripe red fruits: mainly blueberry and raspberry.
The climate of the region is Mediterranean and continental: the thermal variation between winter and summer is great, a fact that allows excellent maturation, rather scarce rainfall and abundant hours of sunshine.
The grapes used come from vines that are just over 30 years old that grow on rocky and limestone soil. Located on two different farms, in Las Gruesas and in Pozuelo, the vines are located at an altitude of about 750 meters and maintain a north-south solar exposure. The vineyard is cultivated by short pruning and working with goblet and trellis training.
