Currently located in Elvillar de Álava, located at the foot of Sierra de Cantabria at an altitude of 585 meters above sea level. Our first facilities were located in Laguardia, but due to our rapid growth, they soon became too small for us, so we had to move to larger facilities.
Bodegas La Rodetta has state-of-the-art machinery for traditional production, stainless steel tanks equipped with thermal control that help us during the harvest period to carry out long fermentations at very low temperatures, as well as wooden vats where part of the wine is fermented and macerated. of our upbringing. It is then aged in our barrel park (60% French oak and 40% American oak) using different toastings. Since the idea was forged until today, a reality, Bodegas La Rodetta has a maxim very much in mind: wine as a lifestyle.
A privileged environment, with special climatic conditions thanks to a natural defense called Sierra de Cantabria, the ideal soils for growing vines, and meticulous and dedicated preparation, result in wines with aromatic characteristics and flavors of their own.
After several years of effort, we are part of the world of wine and its culture and as far as the closest thing is concerned, we are one more brushstroke of those that shape that wonderful work of art that is Rioja wine.
