View: Straw yellow color with a steely rim. Clean and very bright.
Nose: Exquisite fruity notes are appreciated, exalted by fine spicy nuances.
Palate: Soft palate, with fine acid structure, pompous and balanced. The fruity notes stand out (green apple and ripe pineapple) that continue on a very pleasant background of spices (fennel).
The story began in 1962, when Miguel Torres produced a modest amount of Parellada grapes, the traditional white variety of Alt Penedès, which gives the wine a fruity and fresh aroma. This wine is made from a blend of Parellada and Garnacha Blanca.
Parellada is the most delicate white grape variety, whose vines are found in the mountains of the Upper Penedés. The fermentation of Viña Sol takes place in stainless steel vats at low temperature. This wine is bottled weekly, which makes it a fresh wine with very little oxidation.
