Bodegas Torres is a family business founded in 1870 by Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell, with several generations dedicated to the production of wine and brandy in Penedés. Currently, Bodegas Torres produces wines in many wine regions of the world. In Spain it owns 4 wineries, in another 4 appellations of origin, Penedés, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Priorat. Bodegas Torres currently has great international prestige and exports to more than 140 countries.
Sons de Prades is a wine made with Chardonnay, from the Milmanda vineyard. Located at the foot of the Serra de Prades, about 500 meters above sea level on clay-calcareous soils. After the manual harvest, 50% ferments in stainless steel tanks and the other 50% in French oak barrels. 45% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. The aging is 6 months in new fine grain French oak barrels.
