Nose: Elegant and intense notes of red and black fruit, well ripe in a sweet spice and smoky background.
Palate: On the palate, sensation of juicy fruit. The structure is good, the acidity is well present. The tannins are sweet, full-bodied and elegant. Long and rich finish.
Description: Vineyards located at 750 meters above sea level with north-south orientation. Type of short pruning, with goblet training. Plantation density of 1600 vines per hectare.
Age: Monastrell and Garnacha tintorera of 46 years old.
Soil: Stony-sandy with limestone subsoil.
Climate: Continental Mediterranean.
Yield: Between 1500 and 2000 kilograms per hectare.
Vinification: Fermentation and maceration for a total of 16 days at a constant temperature of between 26 and 28ºC. Malolactic fermentation is carried out. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Aging: Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
Bottling: This wine does not undergo the stabilization process prior to bottling.
