Ramón Bilbao Crianza is a classic wine from La Rioja produced by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao, a winery with more than a century of history. It was founded in 1924 by Don Ramón Bilbao Murga, although from 1896, Don Ramón ran a small winery in Haro from which he sold his first wines.

Ramón Bilbao Crianza is a monovarietal made with Tempranillo grapes, a typical variety of La Rioja, from several plots. The grapes are harvested at their optimum ripening point thanks to the monitoring carried out throughout the cycle. The grapes are destemmed and each plot is fermented separately at a controlled temperature of 28-29ºC. A rapid devatting is carried out, once the desired color extraction is achieved.

Ramón Bilbao Crianza is aged for 14 months in American oak barrels. Once the aging is finished, it rests for 8 months in the bottle before going on the market.
