On the nose it is very elegant with aromas of grapefruit, flower and peach. On the palate it is juicy, with an unctuous texture. Red fruit flavors. Very fine and mineral acidity.
Miraval Rosé is a rosé wine from the AOC Côtes de Provence (Provence) produced by the Miraval winery with the Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah varieties. Miraval is a 'chteau' located in Correns (Provence), the first 100% ecological village in France.
The property, which includes 600 hectares of vineyards, has been owned since 2011 by actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Joli. Associated and advised by the Perrins, one of the most prestigious wine families in the Rhône Valley, they become very good producers of their own wines. Miraval Rosé comes from vineyards located in the best plots of the Estate. They are vines that are planted in clay-calcareous soil, at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level and that are cultivated completely organically. At the optimum moment of maturation, the harvest is carried out, always in the morning and with a double selection. When the Miraval Rosé grapes enter the winery, they are destemmed. A direct pressing is then carried out for the Cinsault and Garnacha varieties. For its part, the Syrah variety is vinified separately through the bleeding method. Most of the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Only 5% is carried out in barrels with 'batonnages'. Miraval Rosé is a fresh and fruity rosé wine presented in a most glamorous bottle. A very captivating wine, with Hollywood airs.
