Finca Manso de Velasco, named after the former governor of Chile and founder of the city of Curicó, is the birthplace of Manso de Velasco 2014, a superb wine whose intensity, depth and elegant nuances place it among the best Chilean varietals. of this breed of Bordeaux origin.
Miguel Torres Chile carefully works the 15 hectares that occupy this century-old vineyard from which Manso de Velasco 2014 comes. Its deep, slightly rocky and sandy soils mean that the vines have a limited yield, with fruits of great typicity and concentration. These qualities were taken full advantage of after careful preparation, culminating in 18 months of aging in French oak barrels from Nevers.
Vinification: The grapes macerate for 28 days. Subsequently, they carry out the fermentation for 7 days at a controlled temperature of between 27 ºC and 28 ºC.
Aging: Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels from Nevers, 70% of which are new.
