This white Chardonnay gets its name from La Masía as the Californian winery Marimar Estate is designed in the style of a classic Catalan farmhouse. The grape with which the wine is made comes from the Don Miguel vineyard, named after the man who was the patriarch of the Torres family. It is an exuberant white, with aromas of orange blossom and green apple. It is fresh, vibrant and creamy.
Nose: Intense and delicate aromas of jasmine and white peach, well framed by the elegant oak that contributes hazelnut notes.
Mouth: On the palate it is concentrated and elegant, while vibrant and round, reminiscent of baked apple and lemon cream. The finish is long and perfectly balanced.
Name: Don Miguel
Vineyard Description: The vineyard is located in the Green Valley area.
Area: 12 hectares in total.
Climate: Green Valley is one of the coldest and foggiest parts of the Russian River, just 15 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean.
