The Jean Leon Nativa range is a tribute to the Penedès, a place chosen by Jean Leon to fulfill his dream of making a wine that bears his name. Catalan tile, a valuable testimonial piece of its history and popular life, inspires this collection. The Rose of the Winds illustrates this organic, fresh and elegant Xarel lo, made with the Penedès variety par excellence.
Nose: Citrus aromas, fennel and nutmeg on a background of white fruit.
Mouth: Fresh entrance and frank acidity. This fine and elegant acidity accompanies the entire journey in the mouth. It presents a soft and persistent finish sweetened by its volume and unctuousness, the result of the work on the lees.
Harvest: It took place on September 16, 2020.
Vinification: 12 days of alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
Ageing: Aged on fine lees and a small percentage aged in acacia barrels for 3 months.
