View: Ruby red color.
Nose: Pleasant notes of black fruit, chocolate, pipe tobacco and with a black and mineral background.
Mouth: Warm, deep and elegant step. Tasty, structured and with the point of acidity typical of the vineyards that give it balance, liveliness and great aging capacity.

Granja Remelluri Gran Reserva 2010 is made from selected plots, through a blend of Tempranillo (majority), completed with Grenache and Graciano and a small percentage of white Viura and Malvasia. Aged 26 months in French oak barrels. Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri is located on a beautiful estate in Labastida, the winery that, together with Contino, revolutionized the Rioja Alavesa in the 1970s. A firm ahead of its time, considered 'the first chteau in Rioja'. The history of the Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri winery starts in 1967, when Jaime Rodríguez and Amaya acquired this historic enclave, where wine-growing activity had already existed since the 16th century.

His first wines marked a new direction in Rioja Alavesa: they moved away from classicism to opt for a more fruity and, for many, more elegant profile. Today the winery is run by the second generation, represented by Telmo Rodríguez, a figure in national oenology. The farm, at the foot of Mount Toloño, enjoys an exceptional microclimate, protected from wind and frost, and houses 90 hectares of vineyards, divided into small plots and cultivated ecologically.
