100% Tempranillo
This wine takes its name from the Alto Otero, a beautiful landscape where the winery is located, within the municipality of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. It is made only with the Tempranillo variety and is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, with a slight percentage of aging in totally new barrels. With this they achieve an intense and elegant wine, with notes of black fruit, spices and toasted bread. Very versatile with a large number of dishes, from cold tapas to red meats, cold meats, cheeses and oily fish.

Nose: Intense and fragrant, with delicious fruit aromas (raspberry jam) and spices (green pepper), with a pleasant note reminiscent of toasted bread.
Palate: The palate is warm, with velvety and juicy tannins, refined by ageing.
Description: Vineyards located in the municipality of Labastida, a municipality located at an altitude of 1,271 meters above sea level.
Harvest: Manual harvest carried out in the month of October.
Vinification: Maceration for 15 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under temperature control (26-28ºC) for approximately one week.
Ageing: Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. 7% ages in new barrels. Bottled: Once bottled, it ages for a minimum of 12 more months in a bottle rack with controlled temperature and humidity. Contains sulfites.
