Alma de Tinto 2020
Our Alma de Tinto presents a limpid and bright color with a medium intensity cherry red color, aromatically it presents a high intensity with remarkable varietal frankness (cherry, currant, liquorice) with a good structure in the mouth and without edges (acidity) but with a Clear varietal freshness.
The Alma de Tinto Mencia and Arauxa wine is made with grapes of the Mencia and Arauxa (Tempranillo) varieties from selected vineyards along the Monterrei Valley, different soils, from granitic-sandy to sedimentary with schists, provide different wines that They bring different nuances to our wine. The grapes are collected in small boxes of 15 kg capacity, they are immediately transferred to the winery and are processed by introducing them in stainless steel tanks where a process of film maceration or maceration with the skins begins for a week, then a fermentation process begins Alcoholic at a temperature of 27ºC for approximately fifteen days, subsequent racking and permanence and maturation in the tank prior to bottling completes the process.
