22 pies is a red wine that offers aromas of red fruits and spicy nuances typical of its ageing on the nose.

On the palate it flows fresh and silky accompanied by soft tannins and with a long and pleasant finish.

2 pies is a monovarietal Tempranillo red wine produced by Locos del Vino under the D.O.Ca. Rioja in La Rioja, Spain. For the production of the 22-foot wine, selected clusters are used that come from two regions of Rioja: the Tempranillo from the Rioja Alta provides an expression of fresh fruit, excellent acidity and good aging potential, while the Tempranillo from the Rioja Alavesa It comes from a terroir with a climate with colder nights that lengthens the ripening period of the grapes and provides freshness to the wines in the warmer years.

These grapes are born in vineyards with vines with ages ranging from 15 to 25 years old and ferment in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. The resulting wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, part of which is newly used. 22 pies is a tribute to the Spanish picaresque who has always shown great attachment to wine and on its label represents the legend of 11 tiny wine lovers who steal the best bottles from the innkeeper Durán.

It is a fresh and carefree wine that is part of the Locos del Vino project, which aims to bring wines from some of the most characteristic wine regions of Spain closer to people.
