The Viña Herzas Winery is located one kilometer from the town of Arafo, at the base of the mountain, in the Morra Tanque area, at an altitude of about 700 metres.

Miguel Ángel founded the winery in 1996, on a farm that he acquired in 1990, land that he was breaking up and transforming into what today all the residents of Arafo know as the 'Doctor's Farm'. A farm that has approximately 5,500 square meters, all of it planted with trellis vines. The cellar is internally lined with quarry blocks, part of which is excavated under a vegetable garden and has a capacity of 6,000 liters in stainless steel and some in American oak barrels. In 2016, 6,000 bottles of white wine and 3,000 of red wine were bottled, these figures forming part of its approximate annual production to date.

'The varieties of vines that the farm has are Listán white, Listán black, Gual, Moscatel, Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.'

The origin of the name of Viña Herzas comes from the first initials of the surname of his owner, Hernández, and that of his wife, Zasterova.
