In the environment of the Natural Landscape of La Geria, with a surface area of 5.225 acres and very close to the Timanfaya National Park, we find a landscape covered in a dramatic black mantle of volcanic ash, where we can admire the beauty of a barren landscape after the last volcanic eruption (1730 - 1736) and adapted in the time by the hand of man, following his instinct of survival and adaptation to the environment that surrounded him.

The Winery was built in the late NINETEENTH century by the family-Rijo. In 1993 it was acquired by its current owners, the family Melián, who have combined the most ancient wine-making traditions with the most advanced technology in the wine industry.

Currently, Bodega La Geria, is the most visited of Spain, with an average of 300,000 visits per year.
